CALL FOR PAPERS

We are pleased to announce the 16th Annual Student Archaeology Conference. The 2009 conference will explore the topic of spirituality in prehistory. We will consider concepts such as of religions and magical practices, rites and rituals, as well as sacred locations and buildings. We will be looking at a range of time periods from the Palaeolithic to the end of the Iron Age. We seek papers from diverse theoretical, practical and methological standpoints that further the discussion of these areas.

This year we will hold the following three sessions:

1. Religious and magical practices;

2. Rites and rituals; and

3. Sacred locations and buildings.

Abstracts for papers and/or poster presentations of approximately 150 words, must be submitted by email to cerc_de_arheologie@yahoo.com.
